If you are unable to receive email, surf the internet or stream music then there may be issues with the connection of the network and that’s the reason you are not able to browse the internet. You can try the below solutions to fix the issue.
Go back to previous versopm of network adapter driver
In case you could connect to the network prior to recent installation of the latest network adapter driver, then this could lead to connection issues.
It may also occur if you recently installed a Windows update that may have accommodated an updated driver. No matter which ever case it would be out of the two, going back to the previous version can be helpful.
On taskbar, in search box, type – Device Manager, and from the list displayed choose – Device Manager
Open – Network adapters, and then search for the network adapter for the device you are using.
Select – network adapter, and now select – Properties.
In Properties, choose the tab- Driver and then select- Roll Back Driver, and then follow the steps given below
In case the – Roll Back Driver seems to be, it reflects that is no driver available to go back to.
Post going back to the earlier version of driver, choose – Start button—Power—Restart when prompted to restart and then check if the issue has been solved.
If your network adapter driver is incompatible or outdated, it can result in connection problems. In case you upgraded recently then there is a possibility that existing driver was actually designed for the previous Window version.
The error may also occur if Windows 10 has been recently updated. In both the cases check if there is an updated driver available.
In search box, type- Device Manager, and from the list select- Device Manager
Open – Network adapters, and look for network adapter for device in use.
Choose – network adapter, and then you need to select- Update driver– Search automatically for updated driver software, and now carry out the instructions.
Once updated driver is installed, select 0- Start button—Power —Restart when prompted to restart and then check if this solves the error for you.

At times firewall software also prevents you from accessing connection. You can check if the connection problem occurred due to firewall. You can do this by turning the firewall OFF for temporary period and then check if you can access a genuine website.
Here is how you can turn off the firewall
On taskbar, in search box, type – Command prompt. You can see the button – Command Prompt. Just choose – Run as administrator– Yes.
On command prompt, type – netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state off, and next is to select –Enter.
Open the web browser, and just try to access a site that you trust and check if you are getting connected to the internet.
In order turn ON the firewalls you have installed on your system, on command prompt, type – netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state on, and select – Enter.
